King & Country
Not yet released expected in mid-February.
During the opening days of the Battle of The Bulge there were only limited elements of the U.S. 9th Armoured Division (Combat Command B Reserve) ready to oppose the advancing German panzers. A few days later more tanks from the U.S. 10th Armoured Division moved into and around Bastogne to defend that city from the attacking enemy.
This second ‘Winter M4’ nicknamed ‘Battlin’ Betty’ is another snow-camouflaged all-metal Sherman complete with the same ‘Special Edition’ features (flexible, moving tracks and full suspension together with open and closing hull and turret hatches) as the previous model plus its own 3 crew figures.
IN ADDITION… Both ‘Special Edition’ Shermans come in a handsome, sturdy, full-colour presentation box together with a numbered certificate that limits each model to just 250 pieces.
