This is a Damaged SAM030 Samurai Messenger Struck by Arrow - Takeda Clan by First Legion.
There is a small hole in his armor on one shoulder (hard to show) and his flag is snapped. Comes in the original box.
While taiko and gunbai could deliver simple orders, sometimes a direct messenger was needed to deliver explicit orders. Such runners were favorite targets of archers, effectively disrupting the enemy's line sof communication.
