New for the American Revolution line, the 8th and 12th US Continental infantry!
The 8th Continental infantry was originally the 2nd NH and participated in the Boston Campaign as well as the New York campaign. One interesting note is that the flag for this regiment (2nd NH) is one of the only surviving flags to emerge from the War.
Alongside them, there is the 12th Continental Regiment. LIke the 8th, this regiment originally from MA, participated in the Boston and NY campaigns and has been presented with the Grand Old Union flag as would be appropriate for this timeframe. Both regiments fought at the Battle of Trenton.
