First Legion

First Legion has added the Light Company of the 38th Regiment of Foot to their American Revolution collection. The 38th Regiment landed in Boston in 1774 and took part in the battles at Lexington/Concord, Bunker Hill, Long Island, Brandywine, Germantown, and Monmouth Court House among others, making them one of the most storied regiments of the war.
The elite companies also took part in Yorktown where they surrendered with Cornwallis.
This soldier kneels to load his weapon, reducing his profile and clearing the way for those behind to shoot over his head.
