First Legion
The Saxons joined the French Empire in 1806. After the War of the Fifth Coalition in 1809, it became clear that they needed an armed forces reorganization along the lines of the more modern French army. First Legion has created a grouping of the unique Garde du Corps to expand Napoleon's forces, or possibly the Coalition if assembling a display taking place during the War of the 7
th Coalition.
