The Collector's Showcase CS00295 Wheat's Tigers Zouaves Wounded Set
American Civil War
Wheat's Tiger Zouaves. Raised in New Orleans these Zouaves were amongst
the grittiest, toughest and hard headed troops the South fielded during
the war. This infamous unit was responsible for anchoring the Southern
line at the Battle of First Manassas in 1861 and fought like the "devil" throughout most of the war. The Louisiana Tiger Zouaves lead the South
to victory at: Winchester, Port Royal, and Fort Royal.
