John Jenkins Designs USCHGUN-02 US 5.5" Howitzer
There were 2 5.5” Howitzers at Chippawa. Weight of Howitzer and Carriage was 2100 lbs. It took 2-3 trained gunners, with 3-4 assistants to operate.
The rate of fire was 1 round per minute, and effective range was 600-800 yards.
