The Army of the Kingdom of Italy was created along the same organization as the French Army and was consolidated into its own corps within the Grande Armee. The Kingdom of Italy was formed in 1804 when Napoleon became Emperor of France, Italy because the Kingdom of Italy with Napoleon as King.
There were 7 Line Regiments, 4 Light Regiments, two regiments of Dragoons and two Regiments of Chasseurs along with a small Guard Contingent.
As part of the Borodino Series, the Italian Infantry were under Eugene's command and stormed the village of Borodino early on in the Battle. They are presented here as the 3rd Line Infantry with Fusiliers and Grenadiers in advancing and attacking poses along with the Voltigeurs arranged in a firing line.
