Print depicts Nine-O-Nine being readied for another mission to Berlin from its base in England, 1945. This B-17 flew 140 successful combat missions with the 91st Bomb Group without ever losing a crewman or aborting a mission, while participating in eighteen raids on Berlin and flying an amazing 1,129 combat hours.
Today, the Collings Foundation owns a flying B-17 with these markings.
