Napoleonic Wars
King & Country offers an exciting new line of Napoleonic figures. They chose the Peninsular War Campaign (1808-1813) waged across Spain and Portugal as the battleground, with the British 71st Highlanders and the French 3rd Line Infantry as the main protagonists for this first release.
The British forsook their usual heavy gray woolen trousers for cooler white cotton, locally made, however the quality varied and these garments were easily torn and often patched.
As collectors have come to expect with King & Country pieces, these all-metal, hand-painted figures are very highly detailed and expertly animated. Sold as single figures, they will allow the creation of spectacular massed dioramas or exquisite smaller displays, as the collector prefers.
