World War II

Under the direction of their Engineer Officer three other German assault engineers get to work building their bridge.

On Friday, 10 May 1940, Germany simultaneously invaded Holland and Belgium. As British and French troops moved northwards against the invader, another, even more deadly blow, was about to fall further to the south on the line of the River Meuse. Unseen by their French opponents the Germans had moved an entire Army through the dense Ardennes forest right up to the border...on Sunday, 12 May they struck.
