These figures from First Legion represent the German 6
th Parachute regiment at Normandy in 1944. The 17
th SS Panzer Grenadier Division and these paratroopers ferociously counterattacked Carentan, fighitng against the 101
st Airborne at the Battle of Bloody Gulch. NOR026-035 complement the Waffen SS NOR013-025 and US Airborne NOR001-012 figures.
The MG42 was the terror of the Allied infantry, but it had voracious appetite for ammunition. This trooper makes best possible speed while carrying two ammo boxes for the MG42 team.
