This is a Damaged ROM090 Gallic Warrior Wounded Vignette by First Legion.
The arrow that was stuck in the ground is snapped off and its flight is also snapped. Both included and in the original box.
A younger warrior stops to shield his chief, who has taken a spear in the chest. The pyramidal points of the Pilum used by the Romans was designed to find the weaknesses in the comparatively soft iron chain armor that was so common to their less metallugically advanced enemies. The 10th Legion fought alongisde the other forces of mighty Caesar at the Battle of Alesia and First Legion has brought the battle to life with these incredibly detailed, hand painted metal figures.
