Military Gifts
The P/F-82 was the twin fuselage version of the P-51D Mustang. It was very fast, but was not capable of dogfighting with the jets in Korea. Many of them, like that shown here, were converted to night fighters with a large radar pod mounted under the center wing section.
Measuring 16"x 11½" this limited edition is signed in the lower left corner with the edition number in the lower right.
