Matte Finish, American Revolution
The American Revolution Series depicts some of the most consequential
events and most significant characters that shaped this dramatic period
in American History. Each soldier's uniform, insignia and weaponry, is
first researched and authenticated by Revolutionary War historians. The
figure is then sculpted by hand, hand-poured into a rubber mold and
spun-cast in pewter. It is then painstakingly hand-painted. Precise
painting techniques capture facial expressions like snapshots in time,
and realistically replicate the wrinkles and creases of battle-worn
uniforms.
