First Legion
The Saxons joined Napoleon's Empire in 1806 and after the War of the Fifth Coalition in 1809, it was clear that the Saxon army needed a reorganization along the lines of the more modern French army. First Legion's grouping in hand painted miniature of the unique Garde du Corps to expand Napoleon's forces, or possibly the Coalition forces if assembling a display taking place during the War of the Seventh Coalition.
The trumpeter wears a distinctive uniform and carries the means to communicate orders over the chaotic clash of arms on the battlefield--the trumpet!
