1/32 (approx. 57mm.) metal glossy figures made & painted by hand in Argentina. Founded in 1985, Beau Geste is owned by Ana Donzino. Specializing in Indian Delhi Durbar & military band figures, Beau Geste produces some of the most charming toy soldiers available today. The traditional toy soldier is cast from all metal, and is slightly smaller in size than the modern era miniature. They are also finished with a glossy, shiny paint that evokes a simpler, more innocent time. Though make no mistake, the level of detail in the sculpting and artistic hand painting are on par with any modern era figure! The intricate howdahs and decoration on the Durbar elephants; as well as the colorful and historically accurate uniforms of all the various figures has to be seen to be believed.
