DAK

The North of Africa burned after Italy declared war. From 1940 until 1943, the Italians and their German allies fought to control colonial interests from the previous century. These hand painted military miniatures depict the many different vehicles and troops employed by the Afrika Korps and its famous commander Erwin Rommel in its attempt to stop the Allied advance. Not even 'The Desert Fox' himself could have anticipated the British 'Ultra' code-breaking device that would prove to be the key to the campaign.
