Thomas Gunn Miniatures
Douglas Haig was a Scottish born senior officer who commanded the British Expeditionary Force in France during WW1. He was commander during the Somme, Arras, Ypres and various other campaigns. Although he gained a favorable reputation during the immediate post-war years, with his funeral becoming a day of national mourning, Haig has since the 1960's become an object of criticism for his leadership during the First World War.
