Confederate Infantry Standing Firing
Confederate Infantry Standing Firing
As part of Archer's Brigade, the13th Alabama was heavily engaged on day 1 one of the Battle of Gettysburg against the Iron Brigade around McPherson's Woods. They are credited for having been one of the possible regiments to have shot and killed Union General John Reynolds. Though the figures are designed as the 13th Alabama, they can serve well as many different Confederate Regiments and the figures will mix and match quite well with other Confederate figures.

British Royal Marine Light Infantry Standing Firing
The British Royal Marines, officially titled 'Royal Marine Light Infantry' in 1900, were perhaps the most important force in the early part of the Boxer Rebellion of that year. When the call came from the legations in Peking for guards, 76 Royal Marines and 3 officers were sent from the British ships off the Chinese coast. The Marines wore several uniforms during this conflict. There are plenty of photographs of them in Peking, which show that normal dress during the siege was shirt-sleeve order (hardly surprising in the summer heat), and later in the conflict various elements of tropical uniform were worn.

French Marine Infantry Advancing Firing
The Fusiliers Marins ("Naval Fusiliers") are specialized French naval infantry trained for combat in land and coastal regions. The Fusiliers Marins are also in charge of providing protection for naval vessels and key French Navy sites on land. A detachment of fusiliers marins defended the French Legation (diplomatic mission) in Peking during the Boxer Rebellion of 1900. Amongst their officers was enseigne de vaisseau Paul Henry and Pierre Alexis Ronarc'h, who, in 1914, would serve as Counter-Admiral and Commandant of the Brigade de Fusiliers Marins BFM attached to the 32nd Army Corps.

Polish 1st Line Infantry Fusilier Standing Firing
Polish 1st Line Infantry Fusilier Standing Firing
This time First Legion heads back to Borodino with another stalwart ally of the French Grande Armee, the Grand Duchy of Warsaw, specifically the 1st Polish Line Infantry Regiment. As part of Poniatowski’s Corps at Borodino, the Poles were heavily engaged on the far right flank in and around the Utista Mound and the village of Utista itself. In addition to their participation at Borodino and the 1812 campaign in Russia, the Poles played a major role in the 1813 Saxony Campaign and were some of the most competent and loyal troops of all of the allied nations fighting on the side of the French. Presented here in a firing line with center and elite companies.
