First Legion

The squad's M60 machine gun, nicknamed 'The Pig' for its bulkiness, was fed by belts of ammo carried by every member of the patrol. Every soldier carried either ammo belts, extra barrels, or both for the sole weapon capable of producing sustained suppressing fire in the squad.
This First Legion painted metal miniature represents some of the most iconic imagery of US soldiers in Vietnam, from the heavy M-60 slung on its shoulder strap to the ubiquitous pack of 'Reds' tucked into his helmet's strap.
