Claus von Stauffenberg (1907-1944).
Claus Philipp Maria Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg was a German army officer and member of the German nobility who was one of the members of the failed plot on July 20th 1944 to assassinate Adolf Hitler and remove the Nazi Party from Power. Along with Henning von Tresckow and Hans Oster, he is considered a leader of the German Resistance within the Wehrmacht. For his involvement in the movement, he was executed by firing squad shortly after the failed coup attempt known as Operation Valkyrie.
