I don't how many of you might subscribe to this but it's a very good journal. I picked up the current issue (Spring) at the airport a couple of weeks ago and devoured it. It's brought out by the same company that puts out Military History and World War II, among others I believe. However, the articles are better writtent than those magazines and some are written by authorities in the field such as Gary Gallagher.

The Spring issue has a variety of articles including articles about Jeb Stuart, Michiel de Ruyter (a Dutch admiral during the Anglo Dutch wars of the 1600s) and excerpts from a diary of a Japanese officer during the U.S. battle for New Georgia in the Solomon Islands.

I've since subscribed to it and gotten some back issues. I'm currently reading the back issue that came out last year on the 60th anniversary of D Day.

I highly recommend it.

Is this one in black and white or full color? I've heard of it, but not sure if I've seen it.
