This guy was cast Saturday. Primed on Sunday Started paint today. It took a long time for the mold to warm up and then I had to vent the handle of the axe. Light colorse first; white and flesh. Any colors that I wanted to stand out got a white base coat, Stuff like the red on the bearskin. When I am done with a color I seal it in with clear gloss. This makes the process a little longer but acryllics dry fast:) Next to my figure is a steadfast for comparison.
Theirs are very well done. A benchmark for me.

I don't know how you guys do this build and paint thing in two days. I have to jump from build and design to convert back to build while 50 other things say finish me. I never seem to have time to paint. Maybe I should start with baby steps. Nice job KV. Mike.

A funny thing that I do while painting this and other figures. I watch TV. Not so funny huh? Well the way I do it is to wait for a commercial and then run to the toy room and start painting. When I hear the program come back on I turn off the lights and head for the TV. Back on forth all evening. It gets done though. I also do the dishes the same way.:p
