Such great figures! It's a shame he closed up shop.

I love this mini diorama of the Rorke's Drift Redoubt from his 1991 catalogue

I liked his Imperial Germans. Besides Guard Corps and All the Queen's Men, and Tradition, no one else was making Imperial German figures in the pre-Feldgrau uniforms or in such variety of regiment and arm-of-service. I'm sorry I never bought any, when he was still in business.
Prost!

How do these compare to other makers size wise? I do think they are nice but a little crude compared to other makers.

I had several sets a one point including a Boer War RHA Artillery limber and outriders. I always displayed them with my old hollowcast Britains. Very similar in size. Because of cost and the somewhat cruder and delicate nature of the figures (the metal was very brittle), I did not persue expanding them and eventually sold them off. Wish I had kept the RHA, though. -- lancer
